Organizational Management – Culinary Arts Management

The Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management degree is designed to help students gain a better understanding of how an organization functions and the management and leadership skills needed to run that organization effectively. The 30 major courses cover topics such as strategic planning, financial management, law and marketing, decision-making, human resource management, and ethics. An additional 12 units cover issues specific to the culinary arts management profession.

 Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality and Restaurant Management

The Bachelor of Arts degree in Hospitality and Restaurant Management prepares students for management-level positions in the hospitality industry by providing a well-rounded education in the details of operations and management in the hospitality industry. Previous experience and an Associate’s degree in hospitality are required of applicants. Courses cover topics including hiring personnel, maintaining accounts, purchasing and inventory control as well as entrepreneurship, strategic planning, and leadership skills.
